Mileage Log

Every business mile is money — but only if you logged it. This log lives in your browser (nothing uploaded), totals your deduction, and exports to CSV for tax time.

Stored only in this browser's local storage. Use Export CSV before switching devices.

Note: commuting to a regular workplace generally isn't deductible; business travel is. This is arithmetic, not tax advice.

Miles are just one deduction

Our $24 1099 Contractor Tracker organizes every deduction — mileage, home office, supplies — all year. Get the free W-9 chase checklist:

Common questions

What mileage rate should I use?

The rate is an input, never an assumption. The 2025 IRS standard mileage rate is $0.70 per mile and the field defaults to it — update for 2026 when the IRS publishes the new figure.

Is my commute deductible?

Commuting to a regular workplace generally isn't deductible; business travel is — client visits, supply runs, and trips between work locations.

Where does my mileage log live?

Only in this browser's local storage. Nothing is uploaded, so use Export CSV before switching devices or you'll lose your records.
